Why? Ellison, Crowell and Pos is a strong young starting 3. We need depth to add at the end but thats it.

Ellison came on and made some plays last year, was huge in the Jets game and 2nd Dolphins game. If you're going to rebuild with young guys, you're gonna have to take some chances with young, late round draft picks.

I am assuming he plays ILB for the Bills even though he was an OLB?

Ellison's numbers as a rookie last year were very close to the numbers that Spikes put up and the kid was moved around. He's only going to get better this year, especially if the Bills keep him at only one position. I can see the Bills adding another LB for depth, even though I also can see them trying to go into the season with some combination of bulked up Wire (who I like better as a LB than I ever did as a SS), Stamer (who the Bills liked last year and get back from his injury), DiGiorgio and Haggan--and perhaps a cheap waiver-wire pick up. It depends on who they see being out there that they can pick up cheap for depth at positions where they need an additional player for depth (SS, TE, LB) and which of these positins they feel that they need to draft for.
