something tells me that they will end up being the team to trade for Michael Turner. The RB depth is getting pretty thin and they still haven't drafted one yet. The Bills got Lynch and the Titans got Henry.

I think Cleveland could make a play for Turner too...either a 2nd or 3rd next year...with no number 1 pick and nothing after Lewis, who'll be gone next year...they need to do something about the long term.

I just looked at the best available and for the Bills needs I might say:

Johnathan Wade, CB, Tenn
Johnnie Lee Higgins, WR, UTEP
Ben Patrick, TE, Deleware
Damion Hughes, CB, Cal

Character issues might be in question for these guys:
Tanard Jackson, CB, Syracuse
Terrell Brown, CB, Texas

LifetimeBillsFan
04-28-2007, 10:09 PM
Unless the Bills are going to sign a couple of cheap free agents to fill some of their other needs, I really don't understand picking a QB at this point. Yes, I know that this kid was a good "value" pick (a good example of why I HATE "value" drafting!), but I think there were some good players at positions of need still on the board and they could have gotten a QB to challenge JP a round later at the earliest--I know that Marv said they were going to take a Qb probably at some point, but on Day One after trading away a Day One in a trade-up? Sorry, I just don't get it....

ShadowHawk7
04-28-2007, 10:24 PM
Precisely, with players like Allison at WR, Siler at LB, and several good prospects left at CB, one has to wonder why we'd think we had the luxury of drafting a competition QB. This leaves us with one final draft choice to significantly improve our team with needs at WR, CB, or LB. We had a solid chance to fill at least two of those, but now we'll only be able to try and fill one of those positions.
