I like all of you were shocked at the Trent Edwards pick, but after reading articles and watching highlights of him there is one thing you notice.....He is a prototypical quarterback. He has everything you are looking for in a quarterback, size, arm, pocket presence, release, the whole deal. It was a great value in terms of where he was picked (to some was the 3rd QB in the draft). The two things i think he brings to the table (which JP doesn't) is the ability when a play isn't there he likes to dump the ball down, and his pocket presence is amazing in terms of trusting his blockers (which he had none) allowing time for recievers/backs to get into holes in the zone. This pick will pay off in some way, that's why I love the pick now.
