Nice pick. Our safety depth was bad and he's the best available safety. Plus...look at this vid....

This guy slipped a bit, so he could be nice depth

We have no depth at safety behind Whitner and Simpson. Wendling can play both ... ran at 4.38 for 40yds. This must mean Wire is definitely moving to OLB?

Irrespective IT IS A GOOD PICK

The team must be happy with Stammer, Haggan and DiGiorgio as depth

Did you see the video of him jumping over that bar? Holy crap!

This is a very athletic, hard hitting FS type. Hes the type of guy that goes out on spread O's. This is the 6th round and we get an athlete like that? Ill take it!

Very nice.

Dont forget we dont have depth at S, this is an upgrade to Leonhard and probably Wire.

John is an extremely intelligent player. He is a hard worker who has good leadership qualities. He has a good combination of size, speed, and athleticism for a safety. He is a tough player who hits hard and displays solid tackling technique. He does need to work on taking better angles to the ball carrier. His speed gives him the ability to make plays all over the field and he is versatile enough to play either safety position. The big question with Wendling is going to be level of competition as he didn’t play against top competition in the Mountain West Conference. He has experience on special teams which should only add to his draft day value.

I'm liking this guy. Sounds like a ST gunner

Depth ... another great draft. All of our picks to date will make the roster. Other teams are picking guys even Foxsports have never heard of

With his speed ... a Jeff Burris type conversion?

Good depth, probably going to be a special teamer...

Can this FINALLY be the end of Coy Wire?

No because Wire is now a LB not a SS.

Sgt. Kurt Schultz reincarnated in my opiinon. When they go three deep safeties on 3rd and long he takes the middle amd the "veterans" take the outside.

Love this pick. 6'1 Free/Strong Safety. He has top character that Marv is looking for in a Bills player.

Great Job Marv Levy. In you this Bills fan trusts.

We are becoming the Next AFC East Champions. Might I say, IT'S ABOUT TIME.

Looks like he could also be a LB in the cover 2.

Wendling is an excellent pick in the 6th considering the depth we had behind Whitner/Simpson, but again, we ignored our need at CB, LB, and WR.

True that. Looks like we potentially added depth at three different positions with one pick. Wendling has been our best pick since Poz imo.
