    No Deal

Miami held strong (as opposed to previous regimes) and told the Chiefs they'd give them their second 6th round pick, and the Chiefs didn't take it. So either the Chiefs will accept both of our 7th round picks (saying they even offered that to them) keep him and his 7 million+hit this season, or get nothing and cut him come June. Sometimes pride and ego get in the way of too many deals I guess.

That doesn't help the Dolphins much since Green will be further behind learning the system if he is cut and signed by Miami in June.

the guy was coached by Cameron in college and has already played in the NFL under him. I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but I think he has an understanding of the offense. Being familiar with Cameron and Cameron's system is one of the reasons why Miami is the only place he wants to play.

Chiefs GM. I think with the previous regime giving away picks, especially 2nd round picks left and right, he could muscle us out of a 2nd. We initially offered a 7th, then changed it to our second 6th round. Cameron and Mueller may be initially be given flak for the Ginn pick, but kudos for not giving up anything other than what was promised for Green.

I actually agree with Papacrunk and LTFF. Green won't need much direction in the Dolphins new system. He's an upgrade over the QB's they have now. The big question is - Does he have anything left?
