Best Draft?

Minnesota Vikings

1st RD RB Adrian Peterson - 3rd best player in the draft goes #7.

2nd RD WR Sidney Rice - A ton of talent and Minny needed WR help.

3rd RD CB Marcus McCauley - 3rd best CB in the draft and the steal of day 1.

4th RD DE Brian Robison - Thought he would have went early. A nice value.

5th RD WR Aundrae Allison - Thought he was going to go in the 3rd. Another good value.

6th RD OLB Rufus Alexander - Another nice value. A starter on a tremendous defense.

7th RD QB Tyler Thigpen - Over Moore? Gotta admit don't much about him but Moore looks like a better prospect.

7th RD WR Chandler Williams - Strictly a return guy who won't be much else.

Others: Atlanta, Buffalo, Carolina


Worst Draft?

Detroit Lions

Outside of Calvin Johnson it looks like all picks are reaches. When you have #2 pick in the draft you have it for a reason. Detroit, with this draft, will be drafting high again next year.

Others: Miami, Tennessee, Washington

I thought oakland did well, especially when you consider getting rid of moss, and bringing in a QB McCown and WR Mike williams for only a fourth rounder.

Moss was worth more than a fourth, but they HAD to get rid of him and had no leverage.

Well they had a good draft but to be honest they had the #1 pick in the draft. They should be up there.

The team that topped in this year's draft has to be Cleveland. Damn Brady Quinn is HUGE.

yeah, but plenty of teams have screwed up with the first pick. See Houston last year.

The team that topped in this year's draft has to be Cleveland. Damn Brady Quinn is HUGE.

I like Clevelands draft but lets remember that they gave up a potentially top 10 pick in next years draft. They also drafted Wright who is a top talent but also has big time character questions. Outside of Thomas (when they had bigger needs) and Quinn. There is nothing really special about this draft. They were also picking #3.

And yes alot of teams screw up their drafts at #1 but I thought Houston did a good job last year with their draft.

They drafted Williams (who will be a stud), Ryans (who won DROY), Spencer and Winston who have upside on the offensive line, Daniels who played well for them and Lundy did ok with a 3.8 YPC and 4 TDs in 8 starts.

Personally, I'm not sold on JaMarcus Russell for what it's worth.

I think Quinn will be better.

Im not all sold on russell, but I like some of the other picks, getting Michael Bush in the 4th, the trades, etc. A good job I thought.

I don't think russell has it between the ears. But i understand why the picked him.

I think Cleveland had a great draft...

And don't sell the Bills short...Lynch and Poz have to come in and contribute this year (there really isn't an alternative right now)...if they do that the Bills will grade out very high...why they took a QB in the 3rd and another RB in the 4th?? beyond me.

the only reason i think it sounds like the vikings had the best day is because we recognize the most names.. in the end.. who knows.

I love Buffalo and Clevelands drafts both very good. But best overall so far is Minnys hands down.
