When Marv Levy was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills during the team's glory years of the late 1980s and early '90s, two of his most important players were running back Thurman Thomas and linebacker Shane Conlan.
Thomas, drafted by Levy and then-General Manager Bill Polian in the second round of the 1988 draft, was with the Bills until 1999, and he's entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame this summer. Conlan, on the other hand, was selected by Levy and Polian in the first round in '87, remaining with the Bills until '92. Both were great players in Buffalo who helped the team win a record four straight conference championships, a mark that still stands today.
These days, Levy is proving the old adage that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, doesn't it? Let's just hope its not a case of being too nostalgic.
