    John McCargo

John McCargo will be back in full strength and will be a serious force in our defense this year.

    Just a hunch.

So will Kyle Williams and Tripplett.

I hope so. I think we will have a pretty good rotation with Tripplett, Walker, McCargo and Williams.

Problem is none of them can stop the run. Regardless the pash rush should be vastly improved with the addition of Darwin Walker.

I think our DTs and DEs will be fine this year.

I think we are going to regret not bringing more depth in at linebacker. I still see teams running all over us next year.

The only thing that may save us is that our offense is going to be dramatically improved.

They are not going to run the ball they will spread out 4 wr and expose Thomas and Greer.

Up until his injury I thought McCargo was playing well.

Teams have plenty of film from '06 of us getting worn down on the ground. I think our secondary is going to be stronger than last year. Simpson and Whitner have maturity. Yobouty was pretty spectacular in college. Way too many of you are underestimating him.

Hopefully McGee returns to his old self. He had a bad year. It was one bad year. Nate had a pretty crappy '05. Rememeber?

The first couple games he looked lost but the last game or two he was really starting to turn it on. I expect him to pickup where he left off.

In our Tampa 2 system, we have our safeties in Whitner and Simpson to cover that.

That is correct. That is why the Bills put more faith in their safeties. Unless I am mistaken, the safeties are more important in the C2 than corners.

McCargo becomes the most important player on this defense this year.

Was just thinking of him. I think alot of our season will live or die by the interior pass rush. If we cant get to Brady he will pick up apart all day....it won't matter who the CB's are. We need to be in his face all day to have a chance at them this year. I think we drafted to the Pats weakness this year ...their aging LB's and DL. We will run, run run toss to the h backs and rb's....and also keep Brady off the field. Without Brady the PAts are ordinary.

How is the Pats defensive line aging? Seymour, Wilfork and Warren are all pretty young. Their linebackers are aging, but Colvin and Thomas should have some tread left on their tires.
