New England has 9 WR's. Why don't we nab a couple of these guys for a tryout in training camp since they'll have to cut some???

18 Donte' Stallworth WR 26 6-0 196 5 Tennessee
87 Kelley Washington WR 27 6-3 216 4 Tennessee
83 Wes Welker WR 25 5-9 185 3 Texas Tech

They made the playoffs last year, so obviously the clowns from the team last year did something right.

Chances are we won't get any in time for training camp...Whoever gets let go by BB won't go until the last couple of cuts.

Perhaps... still would plug in a guy or two on our roster. A couple of these guys would be upgrades for sure.

Maybe June 1st, we'll see.

Wow am I getting old. Gaffney and Caldwell are already in their 5th year in the league?

I think Caldwell and Washington will be the ones cut. You can have them as far as I'm concerned.

I think the Patriots are going to be letting go quite a few players worthy of a look-see....

however the real question is how many of the players are stand-outs outside of the Patriot system ?

Caldwell and Gaffney will be cut. Washington just signed a decent contract he isnt going anywhere.

You guys think they are keeping 6 wr's? No way... they're gonna cut 4. One of them should be worth a looksee.
