That's even worse! Actually I was surprised I didn't see guys like Darius Walker drafted in the CFL. Is there a limit on US players that can be drafted?

He will earn more developing on the practice roster of an NFL team than what he would earn as a starter in the CFL. It was smart move for him to sign with Buffalo already but for him, He will have some options if things don't work out.:candle:

I think since Cousineau bolted for the CFL, the CFL and NFL came to some memorandum of understanding about who gets priority and when. I think if Mace thinks he's got a better shot of developing in the CFL, he can ask the Bills and they might release him from his contract, but he has signed a valid contract and I think the CFL will honor that and not sign him without permission.

I feel bad for the CFL, I'd rather him sign there and make that league better than him waste away here.

Bills ought to do a lend lease deal with them. They will lend him as long as he can have time to study Bills playbooks and we preserve his rights and he does not gain one year of service in NFL. They get a player who knows he has a chance in NFL and will work hard; he gets more experience, does not waste time on practice squad and doesn't overprice himself next year; we get a finer prospect for next year without added cost.
