When he was being introduced to the Bills for the first time he looked like he had a lazy eye, combine that with the way he talks and he reminds me of that little guy from in living color.

Get off this kid's case. He sounds like he wants to be here and he is going to live in Buffalo, so what is the problem? My God, stop judging him before he even plays a down!

based on? Him hijacking numerous golf carts at random college football games and driving them around the field?

You basing your opinion on McShay or Randy Cross?

Interviews?

He seems like he has a personality to say the least but i doubt he's going to be a problem, why would you drop one back with character issues and add one with the same problem?

Until he starts competing with Shawn Kemp for procreation and Willis for his awesome dance moves behind the line of scrimmage and his foot in mouth syndrome, I don't care if he sounds like I do after a 30-pack.

This is just the feeling I get, but I think this guy will be an asset to this team and the community during his time in Buffalo. I just get a really good vibe from this kid, and I think we should all wait to pass judgement until all of his cards are on the table.

Give the kid a break. The guy hasn't even put on a Bills jersey and helmet and you're already running him out of town. Sheesh. I'm sorry, but that's stupid!!! Read this,he sounds like a good kid. This kid will be fierce!!! Light years better than Mcgahee will ever be!

I don't get any bad vibes from the guy at all. I also think he's a lot smarter than many have given him credit for (he went to Cal - Berkeley, not Miami). Get over the grill and give the guy a chance already.

BTW,I'm hoping he blows the doors off the NFL and if he doesn't,please don't say stupid stuff like let's lynch him or something stupid like that. There are some "Bills Fans" that will want to say that if he doesn't succeed. That is an absolute insult and racist and just because he has a name name like Lynch, don't stoop to that level. Just keeping it real and you know who you are.

Marshawn go out there and do your thing!!!!!

AND GO BILLS!!!

Marshawn has some pretty deep roots in the ghetto I suspect, but asside from being pretty happy go lucky, I think he is a good kid. If he gets good advice and chooses his friends wisely, I think he'll be fine, but with those ghetto roots it might be pretty easy for him to gravitate toward the kind of people who could lead him down a bad path.

Lynch was a B student at Cal and is 2 semesters away from his degree.

His "nappy hair" and gold teeth do not mean he is as dumb as Willis.

Don't like the dreads, or the gold teeth, but other than that he seems like a very humble guy w/ a passion for the game. He sounds like he really wants to be hear, and sounds to me, like he will be a good locker room pressence. He seems like a very big jokester, and if ya look all around sports, jokesters are usually the type of guys teams rally around. Exp's sox w/ Millar, White Sox w/ Ozzie, Flyers w/ Roenick, Heat & Lakers w/ Shaq, and on and on...

Are you sure he isn't YouShawn Lynch!!??

Because everything documented about Lynch portrays him as an unselfish, team-oriented player.

(The golf cart thing, which he did after a tense OT game, is noteworthy because it's the only aberration from his inward behavior.)

So how would Aaron Merz describe Marshawn Lynch the person?

"He's always having fun," said Merz. "He tries to make (football) as much of a game as he can, but he doesn't lose his passion for the game. He doesn't take himself seriously at all, but he takes the team goals seriously. He was always good about distributing credit and deflecting stuff from himself. We got along really well. He was a great teammate for me."

OK, to clarify, Lynch has done the golf cart thing twice.

BUT ....

The first time, where nearly every single YouTube video (http://youtube.com/results?search_query=marshawn+lynch+cart&search=Search) comes from, was after an overtime win vs. the Washington Huskies on October 21, 2006. It was in front of packed house.

The second time, on Dec. 28, 2006, Lynch is seen driving around (http://youtube.com/watch?v=eLT91LU_1X8) *hours* after the Holiday Bowl was finished in an *empty* San Diego Chargers stadium with his cousin, wide receiver Robert Jordan.

Those are the only 2 instances of Lynch on a cart.

And in the second case, he had just finished his college career.

The first link is after the Washington game.

The second link is after the Holiday Bowl (vs. Texas A&M (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Recs2T_k4Uo)), which I pointed out above.

Lynch never drove a cart after the Minnesota game.

I don't think so. I believe it's one of those spontaneous, one-in-a-lifetime college things (I mean the part about doing it in front of a crowded stadium.)

It was a surreal event -- while it was going on a bear was crowd surfing (http://youtube.com/watch?v=iChgCGa0ikg)!!! How often does that happen?

I remember Tony Kornheiser and Michael Wilbon discussing it (and giving their approval) on Pardon the Interruption a few days later.

But I'm pretty sure Lynch knows that you can't drive an injury cart around an NFL stadium, especially when it's crowded.

If the NFL hands down stiff fines for having a sharpie or wearing the wrong colored sock, I imagine that the penalty for driving a cart around immediately after a game will be really, really steep.
