Trey Teague was overpaid when he played for us. He was paid as a tackle and played center for us. He was very effective for us. He didn't give up sacks, didn't take stupid penalties and was decent in the running game. While I agree we shouldn't bring him back he is better then what we currently have.

Was Teague hurt last year? I just looked him up on NFL.com, and it showed he didn't play a single game for the Jets in 2006.

He couldn't multi-task. He either snapped the ball good, or he had a good block. Same with..he either snapped the ball at the QB's ankle, or he had a bad block.

I can't remember a single time when he did a perfect 1 - 2.

Yes. I dont remember if it was camp or pre-season but he was injured so Mangold got a shot. Needless to say Teague wont be starting a game for the Jets anytime soon. Mangold had a lights out season at C for them.
