The Sabres may have to play dirty to break the Rangers defense...

Has anybody noticed that as the Sabres try to press in the offense zone the Rangers players just start dropping and flopping like fish, one by one, to prevent the Sabres from taking a shot...no, NOT blocking shots, but they drop before the Sabre even shoots thus preventing the shot...

Combine the dropping/flopping with the speed to get back up and into the play and it doesn't leave many options. Not to sound like a creep but the Sabres may have to do something very dirty to stop this type of defense. Would you as a player intentionally hit a defender in the face with a slap shot?? That is what it might take to break the Rangers.

They can't even hit a 4' X 6' net and you want them to aim at a guy's face?

I wouldn't want them to do it intentionally, but accidents have been known to happen.

We have to something. As long as there are no serious injuries I say do it.

Just don't do it to Shanahan- the gap in his front teeth is so big that the puck would go through it without hitting anything.

How about if we legally hit every guy who touches the puck ever single time they touch the puck instead of skating by them giving a "Good Game" swat on the ass?

Meat, as far as pp after pp, didn't we go 0 for 9 in the 2nd game? The Rangers get more scoring oppurtinties on our PP than we do.

last game it got so ridiculous that I was wondering if the Rangers were going to take stupid penalties to KEEP us on the power play- it was so ineffectual that the Sabres were more of a threat in 5 on 5.

they don't need to play dirty they need to dump the puck in deep and go fight for it.
