He was on Sirius this morning at 10am. Did anyone catch the interview? I had to miss it. What did he say?

I caught the last 10 seconds. Sorry can't help you, but the boys on Sirius were praising the Florida Gators players. They said that Cornelius was 100% a Marv guy as far as character.

Did we pick him up as an undrafted free agent? If so, I think it's a good move.

I heard it. He basically just said the usual stuff about he hopes to contribute on special teams, and he thinks that his type of play will fit our offense very well. He did pick Buffalo over several other teams he said which was encouraging. He said he thinks JP will be a good QB. They talked a lot about the Florida players falling in the draft. Said hes never seen snow or played in a lot of wind. They were telling him how loyal the fanbase is in Buffalo just like the Gators. That's about it, I love NFL radio because they actually interview players that aren't superstars and it helps the fans out a lot. He seems like a great kid though, a real MARV type guy.

i got a feeling about this kid, i watched 3-4 florida games last year and he made plays when given the oppurtunity, i am surprised especially with the rush on WR in this draft that he wasnt taken in the 6th-7th round, but i said the same about Nance last year, so i hope this kid turns out better

Seriously though...it's interviews like this that make Sirius' NFL channel suck. It's pretty much nonstop boring guests.

It's better than not having any NFL news at all, and being stuck listening to ESPN radio's boring ass baseball talk.

As an avid Gator fan, this guy will be good. he was so overshadowed by Baker and Co. He just is so good after the catch and he has great hands as well as a knack for finding the opening in the zone. I love this!!!!

I think this is why NFL radio is awesome. I want to know more about the lesser known guys around the league especially if they play for the Bills. I dont need to hear anymore shi*t about Randy Moss or TO or Tom Brady or so on. I love the work they do on NFL radio.

The Answer's official scouting report on Cornelius. Originally had him graded as a 6th round pick:

Pros:
- runs excellent routes
- good hands
- has elusiveness and good YAC potential
- solid deep threat
- team leader
- natural football instincts

Cons:
- undersized for an NFL receiver
- height not ideal (5'10)
- needs to bulk up in the weight room and isn't very physical
- has trouble concentrating
- not good against aggressive jam coverage schemes
- horrible blocker

The Answer's final prognosis: Cornelius will never be a star/#1 receiver in the NFL, but he does have the chance to be a solid SP player and probably looking at a solid #3 receiver if he pans out.
