Shannahan was on the GR post game and said he tought whoever was recording shots on goal was pading the stats for Buffalo. Said that they thought they played as well as the Sabres did all game! Also said the penalty on them in the overtime was weak, and a make up call for the call on the Sabre's to start the overtime, but they could have found a actuall penalty! Ended the interview by saying that he looked forward to game 7 back in Buffalo!

Re: Shannahan's a tool!
I thought the penalty on the Rangers in overtime was weak, but then I thought the penalty on the Sabres in overtime was weak too. So was the Rangers penalty an equalizer? Probably. Was it fair? Perfectly! Shanahan the tool!I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

Re: Shannahan's a tool!
I thought both calls were fine. I was watching Drury when he hooked the Ranger and as soon as I saw his stick hit the midsection I knew it was coming. They are callign that stuff this year.
I did not see the Rangers penalty until I saw the replay much later at night. It was the same type of call. Do not obstruct the offense.Originally posted by mysticsotoLecter is right in everything he said.

I was a little dumbfounded when Briere crosschecked Lundquist as he was on the ice when Briere hit the post.
