He has been very good so far. What he needs to do now is take the next step. He needs to be outstanding. Make "impossible" saves. Steal a game or 2.
He has the opportunity. He needs to run with it.

Hey,he did it the whole Rangers series. He just needed help from our hotshot goal scorers.

He WILL be up to the challenge vs the Sens! :gosabres:

I don't if we can expect much more from Miller, unless perfection is attainable.

Yes, he's let in some weak goals and he appears vulnerable up top at times, but he's consistently made outstanding saves all year, including the 'impossible' stick save on Yashin in the Islanders series.

If anybody needs to step it up this series, it's the forwards like Max, Briere, Roy, Connolly, Hecht, et al, who need to start consistently putting the puck into the net.

And Vanek...I forgot about Vanek. And a couple of goals from Zubrus and Gaustad wouldn't hurt, either.

What Miller needs to do is quit letting in those cheap goals. Then he will be much better.

He has not stepped up at all and has been a disappointment the first two games.

A goalie is only as good as his defense, and I'm not very impressed with the defense, namely Kalinin.

He can't let in soft goals 2 or 3 times a game. It is nto the defense's fault when he he lets in a slapshot that he had a clear view of.

You mean that slapshot that bounced and knuckled in? That would be almost impossible to stop.

Plus majority of the goals he lets in either deflects off a defenseman, or his own defense screens him.

Miller is far from the problem

It's going for 40-50 minute stretches in games not scoring or creating a ton of scoring opportunities

Give Miller just 1 freaking goal a period, and we would have swept the Rangers and made this series a lot more intesting

Miller plays better when he's being challenged.

If he wants to take the next step into being one of the elite goalies in the league he needs to stop letting in so many soft goals. He's not the problem in this series but he's not stepping up either.

Miller is playing very well if you ask me. Goaltenders are going to let goals in. That's the nature of the game especially when you are playing a good fast team.

Miller needs motivated and out offense needs to shoot the puck at the net instead of trying to make perfect passes every time they enter the zone. Just throw the freaking puck at the net and look for the rebound. Emery is by no means an elite goalie yet.

The Sens defense is very good but we need to shoot more instead of trying some razzle dazzle highlight crap every game.

He also needs to stop trying to handle the puck so much. He is terrible at it.
