Who thinks Lindy should call up Peters for the Ottawa series? I mean we have Goose and Zubs who add a physical game along with Mair, but I think if Peters played alongside them, theres a greater intimidation factor, in my opinion of course.

No way. It's the playoffs. They can't give up a roster spot for Peters. Goose, Zubs, and Mair should provide enough muscle.

if by some miracle we get to 3-0 against the Senators (and I don't think that'll happen-Ottawa is too good), then maybe dress Peters for the 4th game and have him crack skulls at the end. But even that's kind of stupid because you're dressing Peters instead of a better hockey player. I'd rather see them play the game to win and worry about cracking skulls during the regular season next year.

Yes, you are the only one... This is the playoffs, everything is different and he wouldn't do us an ounce of good at this point.

its nice to know lindy has options should the sens be foolish enough to try the goonage tactic again but no not until theres a reason would i play guys like peters kaleta etc, theyve got enough grit in the regular lineup to balance physical play

You seem to be alone on this idea.

What everybody else has already said. Neil should be as much of a non-factor as Avery was for the Rangers.

What Lindy should do is start emphasizing finishing checks. Only a handful of guys (Zubrus, Kotalik, Gaustad) really are. Anyone who has been watching either of the Sens' series will have seen a team where every player is playing the playoff 'team' hockey.

Let's go, Buff-a-lo!

No you are not the only one that thinks this. I would have to believe Andrew Peters and his mom agree with you.

If the Sens dress McGratten, then we'd have to dress Peters.

Good call- I hate it when guys don't finish checks and I saw way too much of it in the Rangers series. If it's Briere vs Malik (5'9" vs 6'8")- ok, fine, that becomes a safety issue. But otherwise, no excuses- HIT!

If the Sens dress McGrattan then the Sabres are up 3-0 in the series and they don't need Peters.
