If anything, I'd bring Stafford back and sit Roy.

Roy.. how many times has he given up the puck during the playoffs? At least Max makes plays and knows how to set people up from time to time.

He has 1 goal, and 3 assists in 11 games.. even Mair has 5 (2g+3a) points.

Hecht is lucky he got those 2 goals or I would have been calling for his head as well.

EDIT: Stafford has 2 goals, 2 assists in 8 playoff games

SO, sit Roy.
Play Stafford, he plays hungrier..with more grit.

LETS GO BUFFALO!!

No. I wouldn't do that. Roy is a center and Stafford is a wing.

Stafford makes the most sense to sit for now unless injuries happen or certain players continue to struggle. Especially with the whole team unity thing. you sit the rookie in the playoffs if you got someone like Gaustad to come back.

A good coach looks at more than just stats.

Do you know how many "centers" we have on this team?

I like Stafford a lot, but have to agree with Mikey...Unless the rookie is completely out-playing a vet, you play with the main squad.

Nice problem to have, isn't it?

Roy always plays well against Ottawa, maybe Skate can pull up his stats against Ottawa

I wouldn't even consider sitting him. He may turn the puck over a little but that is what you have to deal with with a creative player like him. Roy is a very good penalty killer also and he is causes a lot of turnovers. Sitting him would be nuts.

he's the kind of pest you want in the lineup.

I would love roy on Drury's line. Last year he dominated on Drury's wing. That being said this team has played two great games, im finally seeing some momentum in they're game. I wouldn't want them to change anything.
