Jochen Hecht left practice early today for precautionary reasons. Hecht has been bothered by a tight groin and head coach Lindy Ruff didn't want to take any chances with Game One two days away.
"The ice was getting pretty bad," said Ruff. "On good ice, it's one thing. On bad ice, it's even worse."
Hecht should be fine for Thursday.
