I definitely think so..

The Rangers proved that they are just as good as the Sabres....

They also will sign a big name free agent...

Sabres lose Drury or Briere

Safe to say that nobody here values your opinion in the least. You've been nothing but a troll since you've shown up. If you're such a big Rangers fan why don't you go check the golf courses around NYC and ask for autographs...

Sabres can get by without Drury or Briere now that Connolly is healthy and Stafford is stepping up big time- there will be a drop but not as big of one as some people think.

And the Rangers need more offense before they become the team to beat. They rely on Jagr and Shanahan too much.

I love it. Delusional Rangers fans. I remember a post from a certain member a few months back saying that the Rangers would beat the Sabres in the playoffs. It's a shame that person is gone.

The Rangers are not in the same league as the Sabres. The Rangers got owned. They are one line, a decent goalie we lit up twice in the series, a whiny girl for a captain and a loudmouth idiot goon who had zero points.

oh and one thing I forgot- Lundqvist carried that team through the Sabres series. In 5 of the 6 games against the Sabres, the Rangers managed only 2 goals or less. If Lundqvist's GAA gets much above 2, the Rangers won't be winning ****.

agreed...... he's the only reason the series went as far as it did during games 2..3...4 otherwise we could have just had a sweep.....

and if we do end up losing one of the captains, i really hope we retain drury, briere will be missed, but if he must leave, good luck

zubrus is whom i'd like to retain, unless he just wanted a shot for a cup here, and then bail

zubrus and drury should be the off-season priorities for this team- I agree on briere- I hope we can keep him but the other two are more important to the team at this point.

The Rangers Proved they are as good as the Sabres going 2-4 against them in the playoffs and 2-8 regular season and playoffs combined?

And in both Rangers wins, the Sabres pretty much phoned them in and still lost by only one goal (one of those times in double OT)

I hope the Rangers learned their lesson by playing the Sabres, They gotta get younger by drafting and through their farm team. The days of signing big name superstar players is over, there's a salary cap now. It's time for these dinosaurs the Chelios's, Madano's, Jagr's, Shannahan's to retire etc. and let these young kids show what they have in the NHL.

Golisano says that Zubrus is a rental player type deal. The Sabres are only focused on only signing Briere and Drury right now.

I am sure a guy like Drury with his attitude and class really wants to play on a team with Jaromir Jagr.

NY Rangers fans might be the biggest babies on the planet. My brother-in-law was over during game 2 and he looked like he was going to cry. He speant the rest of the night pouting like a 3 year old.

And we didn't even rip on him.

The Rangers didnt prove ****.

If anything, they proved the following:

-Avery doesnt back up his mouth, and he sucks at hockey.
-Jagr trys at Home, slacks off on the road.
-Lundquist is their lifeline.
-They can only play with the Sabres when they are on ****ty ice.
-The Rangers arnt even in the same country as the Sabres as far as hockey skill goes.

Anybody who watched that series knows the Sabres were 7.7 seconds away from going home...

The Rangers were just as good as the Sabres, and outplayed them in in four of the six games IMO..

No, they were 7.7 seconds away from going to New York down 3-2. How do you know the Rangers would be able to win Game 6?

But that's all a mute point. Your hockey team still sucks. Stick to baseball, champ.

Yeah, them and about 29 other teams. Thanks for the insight Captain ****ing Obvious.

I'll laugh my ass off when he either re-signs with us or goes out to LA, about as far away from New York as you can possibly get. :D

Is this Bills232 kid 15 years old? All he does is post stupid comments and try to stir the pot without saying anything constructive. In my mind he is another tackledummy and just states negative worthless dribble with no facts to back it up or states something so obvious a 5 year would know it.

Unfortunatly the kid is in college. I know he doesn't sound like it and in fact saying he sounds 15 is a compliment. He went by the name of Northwesternfan at one time and was banned from another site and was banned by that name here. He has changed profiles so low and behold, here he is again. I think the story is that he is actually a Bills fan and started posting on the Bills forums and for some reason, I really can't figure out why, he decided to just start spewing NY Rangers post and post on a Sabres board. It gets tiring, just like other posters around these parts, and it will make everyone post trying to defend their team when the simple fact is if everyone just didn't respond to his posts he would go away. I am pretty sure he has little to no friends and is just looking for some attention because he hasn't gotten any in his life. In reality he should probably go see a psychiatrist and learn how to communicate with people, then he might make some friends. After that, maybe he can get laid.

Who won the series?

And who cares about your excuses. We won. The Rangers suck. Give it up.

Unless Drury WANTS to play for the Rangers no matter what, (he's not indicated anything to support that) he will be a Sabre next year.

So, for now, He's just Ranger fan whack-off material.

The Rangers best players are all over 35 years old. They probably have a couple good years ahead of them but they are not a team with a great future overall.
