View Full Version : Special Teams killed the Sabres in game one

The Sabres were 0/5 on the power play. The Sens scored 3 goals on special teams...2 on the power play and 1 on the penalty kill...
For such a talented team how can they suck so bad on special teams? It's been there achilles heel the whole playoffs...

Go figure...the same thing that plagued us in the regular season and against the Rangers is biting us in the ass again. The Power play is Atrocious! The Penalty Kill sucks too!!! :mad: :ill:

Don't forget about turnovers. That killed the Sabres in game 1 too! Numminen and Kalinin both had big turnovers at least 2 or 3 times in the game. Plus, there was the one where we gave it right to them by the net. And then the ugly one where Mike Fisher got it for the breakaway goal. :ill:
