Committee Presents Final Super Bowl Bid

Monday was the deadline for cities hoping to host the Super Bowl in 2011 to submit their final written bids. The Indianapolis bid committee has spent the last month tweaking the initial draft they turned into the NFL in early April. After reading Indy's first written bid, the NFL did have some feedback.

Is Indy getting a new stadium? RCA dome only holds like 55k- that isn't much for the SB.

Yes. Ground was broken in 2005 and construction is ongoing but behind schedule and over budget. It is a going to be a huge stadium and is a major part of the bid.
