....Hmmm, I wonder where he will end up? I could see the Dolphins or Browns making a play for him...Or perhaps the Chiefs?

Ship him to Oakland...:snicker2:

As a Browns fan, if this is true, I definitely wouldn't mind seeing Brett Favre providing leadership and some tutelage to Brady Quinn. Plus I don't wanna see Quinn on the field anyways, but that's another story entirely.

Truth of the matter is this...Favre probably wouldn't agree to being traded to any team that isn't a contender. I would assume he'd want one last chance at a championship.

A good fit for him, at least, would be Chicago.

Favre in Chicago? Wouldn't the NFL crumble upon itself?

Favre in Chicago? Wouldn't the NFL crumble upon itself?

It may. But what other teams are there that are "good" but basically a QB away from putting them over the top to the next level?

Chicago was the only one I could think of.

It would be a perfect marriage...get Grossman off the field for a guy who can get it done AND puts Favre in a place where he has a legitimate shot at a championship.

Miami. They're only a QB away from a championship.

Chicago does seem like a perfect fit, if this trade did happen.

Otherwise:

-Dolphins
-Browns
-Chiefs
-Redskins? - Why not? It's not like Daniel Snyder would be afraid to trade away a 1st rounder.
-Falcons - If Vick is suspended.

If Favre was on any other team besides the Packers, he would have been benched or cut already!

Favre has been throwing the ball up for grabs basically the last 2 years. He loses his cool and kills drives with forced, reckless passes all the time.

Only a bad team looking for a quick bump at the gate would want him.

The Falcons drafted him ... maybe they'd want him back.

How intact are the Bears from last year? Favre as their qb equals Bears win superbowl. However, really I think its time for the guy to hang it up.

if JP wasn't ready to excel like I think he is...I would have loved to have Favre here.

but we got our own Brett Favre already.....JP Losman!

Please...I thought this was going to be a serious discussion.

Back on topic...I'd be surprised if Favre goes anywhere, but it would be sweet to see him end his career with the team he originally came into the league with,

Oh wow...you are right. I almost forgot that he was originally an Atlanta Falcon. That would be interesting if everything went full circle because that idiot Vick gets suspended.

I think a team poised to win the SB looking for a QB would not want favre. Clevelend would be a good fit for him though and most importantly for that organization is it could save a lot of jobs because he will be able to get some wins.

I guess there is a good chance he's done. Since he wants a trade to go to a contender and a contender wouldn't want him he's going to retire.

I hope he does - I'm sick of hearing Favre's name.

one of the few things that I do agree with Op about is that Favre is a media whore, and I really only think he's in it now simply for the $$$.

I think if he's going to play he wants a chance and doesn't believe in the Packers if this story is true. No matter what he does he's got the $$$ in endorsements so it's not as much of an issue for him to get paychecks from the NFL.

I cannot believe GreenBay would ever trade Favre to division rival Chicago

I don't think it's the money as much as it is the record book. He wants Marino's TD record.

Brett for JP.

I'd take 2 more years of Favre over 2 more years of JP in a heartbeat.

I would love to see him get traded. We wouldn't have to listen to the "This might be the last time" song played during the pregame show of each primetime game the Packers get. Better yet, just retire!

Well, it's not happening, so go take a long walk off a short cliff.

the only thing is with the rivalry against the the Bears, no way would the Pack send him to Chicago

I forgot about that...and that will equal more endorsement $$$.

Disagree about the championship statement - but it could happen, would be better move than trading for Trent Green.
