Didn't someone suggest moving Winfield to S or FS a while back? Don't know if that would be smart. Any more thoughts on that possibilty if we land Molden?

Molden , Winfield ,Clements, Thomas would be awsome anyways. Plus Winfield might command a huge paycheck next year. It would be like the signing of Reed making it easier to let Price go except that Reed was cheaper as compared to Molden , of course. There were some implications on another thread that Winfield doen't like Buffalo.

I would love to keep Winfield here but you'll never know how things will go.

If Winfield doesnt like Buffalo, it is probably directly related to Clements also being here and getting more press

Winfield is a hitter, Clements (supposedly) is the cover guy.

Only other thing is, I think Winfield is too small to play FS in this defense. It calls for a bigger guy who can match up with the TE if neccessary. Kinda like a OLB/FS hybrid.

I dont think Winfield is that guy.

Interceptions make headlines (especially 3 in a game), big hits are part of the game (so are Ints but...)

I like AW a lot but if he doesn't like Buffalo then thank him for his services and welcome in someone that doesn't mind shoveling snow.

Personally I would hate to see Winfield go. I say if we sign Molden, keep Winfield and give Watson the nice swift kick in the arse that he deserves.
