Um, I think my criteria may be different, but Satan is my current favorite player. You are both probably too young to remember, but my favorite player when I was a kid was Gilbert Perrault. He could skate like OJ could run.

The whole french connection, Brad May, Jerry Korab, Alexander the Great, Razor, Craig Ramsey, Larry Playfair, Turgeon, Andreychuk, the list could go on and on....

my most disliked player........Shmelik!!!!!!!!!

I'm just going to talk about the future players so I would say that I like: Connoly, Briere, Afinogenov, Pyatt, Mair and whatever goaltender steps up. Go Sabres!

One that has impressed me less and less is Zhitnik out of the current roster.

I agree Ally.. I like 'em all!

And Pyatt, Warrener, Connolly, Hecht, Briere, Kotalik (Kotalik and Briere look a like)...... all of 'em!

I don't know if anyone remembers him but before we traded him to Colombus for a couple broken sticks, Jean-Luc Grand-Pierre was the most up and coming defenseman on our team. He made the biggest checks of anyone I can remember.

according to NHL.com stats

the same Grand Pierre that hasn't had a positive +/- rating since he came into the NHL? He has a -41 since coming into the NHL.

and a grand total of one assist while with the Sabres, don't get me wrong he could hit...but IMHO that's about all he was good for

Yeah, but using that basis it means that Ray was useless in his career here. He's got a career -38, but that didn't stop the fans from loving him.

Ah...Touche' but Razor also had 19 points in his first two seasons, and was already starting to make his name known in the Buffalo Charity world.

Like I said...don't get me wrong Grand Pierre was OK...but he would definetly not make MY list of favorite Sabres

Good point for Ray.
