http://www.buffalonews.com/214/index.html He might as well not have played last night either. Stafford, and Paetch should be in the line up sat, and it will be a big boost. Paetch can actually get a shot through to the net and stafford has had good luck against this team.

Is Zubes being scratched for his play or because he is banged up?

tough loss. He didn't do much last night, but probably because he's injured.

I like Stafford and apparently he likes to play Otawa. Might as well bring him up.

Did you see the blurb from this article on how the Senators’ celebration placed on hold

OTTAWA — The party is on pause. The Senators’ ticket to the Stanley Cup final just became a rain check. There remains a bit of business to tend to in the Eastern Conference final, after all. The Buffalo Sabres, in a world of hurt after losing the first two games of this series on home ice and Game Three in Ottawa, are still in serious trouble, down three games to one.

What cocky SOB's especially from a team notrious for choking...

If the bench is going to be shortened like it was last nigth then I'd put in Patsche and leave in Kalinin. Kalinin can play the PK which would hurt if he were not to play. Patsche can help the PP. Both can take shifts if the team gets up by a couple to give the other D a break.

I bet we see Stafford though.

They need to get Stafford in the mix. The kid had a great season against Ottawa.

I think Paille would go in he is a more physical type player.

Although i like Ebs idea of putting Patsche in he can play D & W. He also lays down a hit & gets the puck on net from the point when he shoots.

Somebody has to start laying some wood in the corners and on the boards. That edge goes distinctly to Ott. The Sabs need to make Ott start thinking about getting hit.
