Spezza was diplomatic when asked what he thought of Buffalo. “It’s a good city to play hockey in,” he said.
However, Spezza gave himself away when he talked about the value of getting on the road and escaping all the distractions of Ottawa at playoff time.
“Sometimes it’s nice to gather in a hotel, even if it’s one we don’t like too much.”
