Ottawa was just plain better.
They won the season series for a reason. It's not a choke when you lose three one goal games to a superior team.

i agree that we were outplayed.
The Sabres were nothing short of spectacular in the regular season, however, and i am grateful for that.
It was, all in all, a very good season with a disappointing ending.

Now i'm rooting for Detroit to kick Ottawa's ass.

The Sabres were outplayed because they underachieved. They could have won if they played like they're able to.

Ottawa was just plain better.

It's a choke when you have incredible talent and depth and just decide to mail in most of the postseason.

Last year was tragic, this year is just good old fashioned choking.

Yeah, great...another wasted season. Yeah, I can understand why you would be thanking them for showing little heart or character in this series. :huh:

This was the first game where they outplayed Ottawa IMO and still lost. All in all a very exciting year.

I will still believe that. If we got the effort we saw in games 4 and 5, in the first 3 games. I have no doubt that we would have been up 3-2 right now. :ill:
