It was a great way to out. It was definitely a fight until the very last second. Thanks for a great season. See you all in about 5 months for the next season. Until then, thanks for a great season.

Let's Go Buffalo!

P.S. Ottawa will get theirs by the hand of Detroit ;)

Anything short of a championship is disappointing. 53 wins means nothing now.

I'm sorry, I just can't draw many positives from this. They had all the talent in the world and the support of an entire region behind them and they pissed it away.

I suppose losing in Game 5 is better than getting to 6 or 7 and getting my hopes up.

I don't feel good about this season at all.

This team blew it. They blew the series and blew their window.

For whatever reason (I still believe it was mental), they did not play to their capabilities for most of this series. Hell will freeze over before anyone can convince me the Sabres would not have won if they consistently played their best.

Last year I was proud and hopeful after their run. Not now. Just sick.

QFT.

Last year was righteous defiance. This year is just empty dissapointment.

i am disappointed....but being a fan of Buffalo sports teams, i'm used to it.

It was a great season, but the playoff performance was lackluster.

i'll be ready to believe again next season.

Until then, go Red Wings:(

This what wrong with Buffalo fans, we just expect to lose, so it's always going to happen. We always accept losing.

I never expect to lose.

And If we do, I move on to tomorrow.

But I guess that makes me a :homer:

it seemed that Ottawa got every loose puck and won every faceoff.the power play absolutely stunk.it was painful to watch.

You are a Bills, Sabres and Red Sox Fan...losing is in your DNA. Losing is like breathing to you. You can't live without it. You've been losing your whole life. This isn't any different.

Sox won in 2004- that DNA has been expunged

I'm disappointed. We didn't play as well as we could have, but Ottawa's a damned good team, too.

Let's not let this loss spoil a great, great season - actually, two seasons. I love going three rounds deep into the playoffs two consecutive years.

I'm as competitive as anyone and took this loss real hard. But after what the Sabres have done the last two seasons, I'm not about to turn on them or start calling them names.

Thanks for a great ride, Sabres!

One championship in your 40 some years is the exception, not the rule. Your next one is due in 80 years...enjoy.

Absolute failure.

It was one team, one goal all along..
Not one team, one more season of golf.

We blew it, and I dont know if we will ever come this close again in the near future.
