    What the hell happened to Brian Campbell?

    Early in the season, he bordered on dominant- he was hitting, skating, scoring- the complete package. But he actually seemed to get worse as the season went on. During the playoffs and particularly against Ottawa, he was hesitant and indecisive. He made bad passes, took bad penalties and never really hit.

    On the game winning goal, he barely even challenged Alfredsson. What the hell happened to him?

    Maybe my memory is overly idealistic, but he did SOMETHING to get voted to the All-Star game. In the playoffs, he was maybe the 3rd best defenseman on our team.

      campbell has been awful, his ice time has been going up and with that the mistakes as well.

        Ask me, it has been since his All-Star nomination. He went down hill after that. I'm not going to say it went to his head, but.........

              I think he made the all-star team based on his total destruction of Umberger in the playoffs last year

                Campbell is waaaay overrated. He gets his assed handed to him along the boards all day long.

                  and he is suppose to be this great, fast skater yet he never used his speed to get an advantage and was constantly outworked but then again, so was the whole team.
