Stadium scoreboard update

STADIUM SCOREBOARD UPDATE: Last week I wrote a post on how the scoreboard progress is coming along in Ralph Wilson Stadium. Then I thought a picture would do a lot more justice. So below is a shot I took of where things stand right now. Obviously the old jumbotron is gone. I'm hearing the new scoreboard will be installed by early July and then the ribbon boards that will run along the upper deck overhangs will be in by mid to late August. I'll try to keep you abreast of the progress with photos as often as I can.

Quick question - I noticed in that picture those signs on the field walls - "Royal's Rascals", "Peerless Pack", etc.

I always assumed those were fan-generated - do they simply let the fans keep them up there in the off-season, or are those actually just marketing gimmicks by the team?
