OK, in previous rounds points were awarded/subtracted for the series prediction. However, if we were to continue that here there would be no way for some of the participants to win. So, to give everybody a chance to win I have come up with the following - we will predict the winner and final score for each game.
Point scoring:
+1 for picking the winner of each game
+1 for picking the exact score for Ottawa
+1 for picking the exact score for Anaheim
so, you could score up to a +3 for each game
Point deductions:
-1 for failing to pick the winner of each game
-0.5 for each goal you predict incorrectly - example - if you pick Ottawa 6-3 and the final score is Anaheim 6-3 you get a -3 for goal differential (3 + 3 x 0.5 = 3).
Tie Breaker - must be predicted before series starts:
Predict the total number of goals scored in the series.
Predictions for Game #1 are due at noon EDT the day of Game #1.
