All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Looks like the NFL is considering putting a uniform identification on captains of offense, defense, and special teams. I know some teams have always had an "unofficial" captain, but it got me thinking...
Who would be captain of offense, defense, and special teams on the 2007 Buffalo Bills?
You people are depressing me...try this out so my doctor can take me off my meds!!!

Its tough for us to say because we dont know the way people interact in the locker room, but I'd say Moorman on ST, Schobel or maybe Triplett or Crowell on D, and then on O....i have no idea. Maybe one of the o-line? Bc I love JP but he has only started one full season, so idk.
Your QB has to be the acknowledged team leader, so on O it's JP. On D, I wouldn't be surprised to see Poz there in a few years, but maybe Schobel for now, in recognition of his accomplishments. Maybe Wire on STs.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Didn't think of Wire. You're right, he'll be ST captain.
I never really understood why anyone needs a "C" on their jersey. They don;t get more points if they do something smart and they don't lose points when they do something moranic. I guess for the player who the coach "awards" the "C" to it probably gives him a special little somethin' inside but come on. If I am a DB and I happen to come across a little receiver wearing a "C", I might give him a little somethin' special for being "special".
And for the record, I never wore a "C" when I played anything, but since you have never seen a "C" on a baseball or football jersey, I guess that is a pretty good reason.

To some people, it means a lot. Same reason, though completely not even in the league of, earning your stripes in the military. Its just an honor to be selected by your organization as a leader.

I'm pretty sure I've seen pro-baseball players wearing a C on some teams - maybe the Cubbies?
