All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
*u*k, it's not one week, the deadline is until August. Sorry.
Adam Schefter (nfl.com):
While formulating the trade, the Bills and Eagles agreed that if Walker did not report to Buffalo for training camp by Aug. 5, then he would revert to Eagles property and the Bills would get the Eagles sixth-round pick in 2008.
I am the rocker, I am the roller, I am the out-of-controller!
I'm thinkin we shouldve traded for someone else....
Someone who isn't a complete duesche canoe.
i thanked you for calling him a douche canoe. easily the funniest thing ive read all day. thank you for that.
on the main note, GET YOUR ASS HERE DARWIN! Its not like your making the pro bowl every year your in the league. Yes you're good but come on, you're not the best dt to have lived. As a matter of fact you were mediocre in Philly the past year, so really you need to show US you deserve a better contract. This is not helping the situation.
BTW I know hes not reading this... nor anyone from the organization at any time ever. it is fun to think they would be tho hahaha
We traded a legitimate backup QB and starting LB for a !@#$ing 6th and 7th round pick.
Right...Holcomb is so "legitimate" the Eagles are thinking of cutting him before they even open camp. As for Spikes, we'll see if he beats the odds and comes back 100% from an injury few if any NFL players totally recover from. (see: Sam Cowart) Come off the ledge.

10. Eatin' ain't cheatin'.
Then just cut him.. dont disguise it and front like your really doing something to help the team.
Well, if they can get Walker into camp then it would be doing something for the team... we got a potential starting DT (or a 6th) and a 7th and they get a run of the mill backup QB and a rebuilt former stud LB. They took a risk, we took a risk. Both calculated, there's with a higher potential payoff. Still... if Walker were to come in and play well (a possibilty when the trade went down), we would have benefited much more than simply unloading Spikes for nothing.

I agree, I dont care how they "disguise" it, if we get a 6th and a 7th plus a possible starter on D, I'm much happier with that than simply cutting a player. If we had simply cut Spikes, I would have been much more upset than I am now.
