Day 8 OTA Notes are posted

JP went 9/10 in the red zone, and Everett looking good.

Hope Everett can carry the good play through camp and the pre-season. Then again, I hope he can stay healthy until the opener.

The local press has been noting how hard he has worked and the talent is finally showing. Getting something from him and the RB's in the passing game can only help Evans get more shots downfield.

Everett finally seems to have Fairchilds attention and that's a good thing.

is anyone else concerned about how few snaps youboty is getting in the #2 corner spot. seems to be 4th on the depth chart. not saying the sky is falling, but i would like to see him getting a decent amount of snaps with the starting unit.

Just wait till TC. Than we'll see where he's lining up.

Sounds like the D is starting to gel a little bit better to me. Lots of broken up plays and check downs being forced.

You can't judge the defense at ALL until they play competition and see how they PHYSICALLY stop the run.

Pass defense wasn't our problem to begin with.

It would be great if Everett finally turns into the athletic, pass catching TE we thought we were getting when we drafted him. I'm not planning on it, but it would be a real nice bonus, and another weapon in JP's arsenal.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
