Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today the Sabres have agreed to terms with defenseman Marc-Andre Gragnani on a three-year entry level contract.

Gragnani (6-1, 180 lbs.) was Buffalo’s third-round selection (87th overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old native of Montreal, Quebec, played his last four seasons with the Prince Edward Island Rocket of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).

It'll be nice if he can keep up this kind of production in the NHL.

This past season, Gragnani was fourth on his team in scoring with 68 points (22+46) in 62 games. Gragnani was second overall in goals, and fifth in points among all QMJHL defensemen. Gragnani’s combined total of 139 points (38+101) in 127 games over the past two seasons led all QMJHL defensemen.

They didn't sign their other two guys, I know Branislav Fabry was one of them, forget the other. They will be placed back into this years draft.

Wow he sounds pretty good. Just wish he had a little more meat on his bones. 6'1 180lbs is almost miller-skinny

When I saw his face, I thought of Danny Briere's dumber twin
