All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

Well Now We Know The Colts And Saints Won't Be In The SB
Feb. 3, 2008, in the desert: Colts 44, Saints 37. My advice: Score your tickets now. It's going to be one of the best Super Bowls ever. And the zaniest.
Surgery for Meachem: New Orleans first-round draft pick Robert Meachem was scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Tuesday, according to the NFL Web site. The receiver was injured in Sunday's minicamp practice.

I don't know. I could easily see the Saints going back down hill after being so good last year.
I was about to say the same thing. I liked what they did last year, but I don't think they're gonna be one of the new powerhouses in the NFL. On the other hand, they are in the NFC south, with an aging Bucs defense with no offense, a Falcons team that may be without a QB, and an inconsistent Panthers team, so, who knows?

Best quote: Quote of the Week III
"Even though he already ranks fifth all-time in touchdown reception -- with 101 -- he would never get this selector's vote for the Hall of Fame, no matter what he does from here on out. Anyone who makes the statement, 'I play when I want to play' (Moss did during his Vikings tenure) should never be put in the same category as players such as Walter Payton, Mike Singletary, Jim Kelly.''
-- Buffalo News NFL beat writer Mark Gaughan, one of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's 40 selectors, on transplanted New England wide receiver Randy Moss.
