MIAMI (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-dolphins-culpepper&prov=ap&type=lgnsMIAMI) (AP) -- Daunte Culpepper (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/4659/;_ylt=AhSPx39jXczSAi2lm7XglS8dsLYF) wants to choose his next team, so he's asked the Miami Dolphins (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/mia/;_ylt=Avi4521Wof62hdmJ3EVTtr0dsLYF) to release him.
Culpepper, who serves as his own agent, made the request Thursday -- one day after the Dolphins completed a trade with the Kansas City Chiefs (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/kan/;_ylt=AhtIa2y8FtqrcX8L.vWyMuEdsLYF) for quarterback Trent Green (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/2547/;_ylt=At7qurg0pSYs3KLF39n.D3MdsLYF) and told Culpepper they would try to trade him.

"I must say the impatience the organization displayed in both encouraging me to rush back on the field last year and then rushing me out the door this year is disappointing," Culpepper said. "However, I understand that they have the right to make that business decision. It is now my turn to make some decisions."
I just find the whole subject amusing.
