Your favorite pencil necked football genius will be attending the Bills minicamp Monday.

I'm looking forward to his observations, he's one of the few on ESPN that will give the Bills the benefit of the doubt about the young budding players, and also didn't think as highly of Mcgahee as the other commentators did.

Yeah, gotta agree. Clayton is not my favorite analyst. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say, for sure, but he's not the smartest of individuals. At least not to me.

I'd like to see midget losers Clayton and Chris Brown duke it out. I'd pay at least four American dollars to watch that battle.

I don't think much of Clayton, but he is light years better than Salisbury.

truly, all of the guys on espn pretty much totaly blow.. i dont know that i have turned on espn once since last season when they had an actual nfl game on. espn doesnt have hockey anymore, i was out of town for the draft, and the nfl network is lightyears ahead of espn in football, so there is really no reason to turn that **** on.

Skoob, regardless, he's still a turd in my eyes.

if he gives us praise, it's because his higher ups want to try for ratings from western NY and nothing more.

You have to admit he does make salisbury look even dumber than he normally is. That alone makes me like him a bit. But overall BSPN has takin a nose dive for the worst. Atleast they have Gammons for Baseball our they would not have one ounce of credibility left in my book.

I picture him showing up with an english bowler hat, spats and white gloves.

Then I picture Poz runing out of bounds and accidently trampling him. Bills Focus will capture it on film and have 80K hits the first day.

All this means is we'll be hearing crap about Walker not being signed which will lead to Salisbury questioning whether we're trying to win.

Losman feeling comfortable in Bills' offense (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2900861)

For those trying to visualize the Bills' offense, you need to look to St. Louis. Fairchild brings the offense Mike Martz made famous with the Rams to Buffalo. Tempo and quickness are the keys to that system. Losman looked terrific Monday as he hit receivers in stride. That wasn't the case a year ago.
Losman needed a lot of work on his fundamentals in 2006. Coaches broke down his steps dropping back from center. Throwing the ball has always been easy for him. Losman has a rocket for an arm. But footwork has always been more of an issue. "He has kind of settled down and compacted his drop," Fairchild said. "Consequently, he is getting it out with more rhythm and more timing. And he is a lot more accurate."

Those who were regulars at Rams practices in the early 2000s counted the number of practice incompletions in days, not numbers. Kurt Warner (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4541) wouldn't miss and receivers caught everything. The extra year together has wide receivers Evans, Peerless Price (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=4703), Reed and Roscoe Parrish (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=7231) zipping into their routes and coming out with the ball. From the look of things, Evans is on the verge of a monster year and should emerge as one of the top AFC receivers.

"I want fans to say that we are exciting to watch," Losman said. "There are an exciting group of guys. They have put the time and effort to get the timing down. We're exciting. We work hard. There is an all-out effort on everything when we go out there."
The interesting change is at running back. The Bills thought they had become too plodding in the backfield with Willis McGahee (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=6359). The franchise was switching from the Steelers-influenced offensive style of Mike Mularkey to the Fairchild system, which is an up-tempo offense with more finesse. McGahee caught only 18 passes last year, and even though he's a 1,200-yard rusher, the Bills ranked 27th in the league running the ball. Enter first-round pick Marshawn Lynch (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=8266), who brings more of a Marshall Faulk (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=2728) style to the Bills' backfield. ...

You have to love the Ram's references but he takes the usual ESPN status quo with the defense. Lost too many big names, yada, yada...

The Bills, who scored just 18.8 points per game last season, might have to score 23 points a game this season just to get back to the seven-win mark.
But so far, that isn't unreasonable. The Bills' offense looks like a winner based on early observations.

We lost big names that made marginal impacts.

Typical John Clayton report. MId season if the offense is doing poorly he'll revert back to last year and how Losman has just never looked confident on the field. The guy is full of contridiction.

Anyone here could have written that article. No reference to specifics, only commenting on speculation and personal observation. Typical ESPN jargon. This is precisely why I don't watch that channel or read their articles anymore.
