I used to love Darius cuz he was from the Cuse, but he has developed a reputation of being a dirty-ish player in the NFL, plus he plays for the Jagoffs, so he has fallen from my graces. Kindof surprising, even though they drafted Nelson, who plays the other side? Sensabaugh? Jamaal Fudge (:snicker:)?

I think he is rehabbing a broken leg.

if i was in the bills FO i would at least give him a look during training camp.......

yeah he had a rep for maybe hitting a tad high, but the fact still remains that he was/is a good player

Making salary cap room for Daunte?

He wont be a good player anymore.. Once he signs with the Jets, Pats or Fins

eh, i still think he has some gas in the tank, but if the ankle isnt healed correctly, who would really want to take that cap hit

The Pats will sign him. Why not, they signed everybody else.

I wouldn't look forward to a Darius / Harrison safety combo. :(

we have up and coming safeties. Maybe the jets might need him more than we do. :D

our safeties aren't the problem its our pass rush and corners...... but if i was in any teams FO i'd give the guy a shot......... if he doesnt make training camp, then so be it.... his day is done

I whine when people bash without a single word to rebutt what is said on the topic.

It's a time-honored tradition here.

How good Darius is depends on where he signs next. If its Buffalo, he's a legend. If its a different team- then he's decent. If its NE, Miami or the NYJ- He's an overated bum.

Yup exactly...he sucks unless we sign him.

Yup exactly...he sucks unless we sign him. Unless you're Pat or OP. Then he sucks if WE sign him.

In any case, all he would be for us is depth...why in the world would we start him over Ko or Donte? I doubt he'll come here because he probably wants to start somewhere.

And, I would love a Harrison/Darius backfield in New England. Two slow safeties? Hot damn! We'd light 'em up!

I just would rather have Ko and Whitner out there than Darius, so I dont see why bringing in a guy that is gonna demand a decent chunk of change to be a backup would make any sense. If you're gonna start him, thats a whole other ball of wax, but I dont want him to start soooo its a moot point, IMO.

Im happy with our safeties, a guy like Darius would hinder development and wouldn't provide a great deal of improvement.

A team with a young Defense would benefit from having him for a year or two. Kind of like McGinnest in Cleveland.
