Sorry but I don't have a link but on my home this afternoon WGR was talking about the Ruff & Regier press conference and Larry Quinn mentioned that the team will be spending more this year than they did last season but will still remain under the NHL salary cap...
Schoop and Bulldog were saying how the Sabres will have about $17 mil to spend to round out the team. Regier said it was still possible that both Drury and Briere could be resigned but that the numbers would "have to fit" for both to be here.
The next words I want to hear before July 1 are...
"Today, the Buffalo Sabres signed Captain Chris Drury to a multi-year deal........."
