We went out to dinner, at a restaurant of my wife's choosing. Her father is still alive, so we met her parents there. We came home and I got to watch my foster daughter swim. I finally got our pool up and filled the other day. We have an 18 foot soft sider. Later in the afternoon, my wife made me cookies. I like semi sweet chocolate chip, but she doesn't so she made milk chocolate chip cooklies. Then I went to the store for ice cream. My son only likes cookie dough. My daughters like mint chocolate chip and my wife likes almond chocolate frozen yogurt. Fortunately, I like a lot of varieties, so I bought what they like and had cookie dough ice cream. Then I had to go read scripture for a baccalaureate service. I did get a couple gifts. My foster daughter got me a new lighter for the grill, and my daughters gave me an indoor outdoor thermometer that also measures humidity. My wife told me that she decided to get me a new wheelbarrow, but I needed to buy it because she wouldn't know what to get. I'll have to go get that sometime. I do need one though. I had a little light duty one for about 25 years before it finally rusted out.
