The three-year contract that Trent Green signed in Miami to facilitate his trade to Miami two weeks ago is worth substantially less than the three seasons that remained on his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs.

For Green, the plusses in Miami, where his basic contract is worth $13.5 million for three years, outweighed the reduction in earning power.

Yeah like the pluses of all of those DL hitting him via Miami's pourous OL ....

All part of his retirement plan, now when he DOES retire around week 3 when he becomes paralyzed, he wont have to move all his stuff to Florida, it'll already be there!

Green is at the end of the year. I could understand if he was willing to take less money to win. But he's taking less money to LOSE. That makes no sense.

Green is at the end of the year. I could understand if he was willing to take less money to win. But he's taking less money to LOSE. That makes no sense.

Anyone thinking that Miami is a better team than Buffalo at this point is not thinking straight.jk

It's always possible that some team comes out of nowhere and really surprises everyone but I highly doubt that it's going to be Miami.
