All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

article from ESPN the Magazine: How the Sabres get Kane
article from ESPN the Magazine: How the Sabres get Kane
The Buffao Sabres are high on Kane and the Buffalo native wants to play for the Blue and Gold so here's what the Sabres do they trade Afinogenov, MacAurthur and Buffalo's own 2nd round draft choice to the Blackhawks (they still have a second round draft choice later in the draft from the (Martin Biron deal) and their 2008 #1 draft choice to get the #1 pick in this years draft and they draft Kane. The Sabres are also doing two things getting the player that they want and second they're making cap room to sign Briere and Drury.
That would be pretty cheap for the 1st overall pick, imo.
they would want stafford instead of McArthur, I don't think Kane is the answer for this team. It would be a nice story, but picking a 5 foot 7 forward won't help us bulk up for the playoffs.
Re: article from ESPN the Magazine: How the Sabres get Kane
I would do that trade in 2 seconds! We really wouldn't be giving up that much and we would be saving money. Kane will be the next Briere but better. Yes we need to bulk up a bit but that can still take place.

WHY??? This makes NO sense IMO. Max is what he is but isn't going to get any better, McArthur is never going to be more than average. Now Zagapran and Person are our previous 2 first round selections. They are way younger than Max and would make less money. From what I have read Zagapran should be a sniper(something Max is not). I would be very angry if they traded those 2 prospects.
