    Cap Update 3/12/03

    Top 51/bonuses:$54,442,053
    NLTBE:$1,750,000
    Dead Cap:$9,470,853
    Total:$65,662,906
    Salary Cap:$73,923,414

    Over/Under:-$8,260,508

Notice that the salary cap for us is now $73,923,414. Bills' have a $1,083,586 debit on the 2003 cap, thus the lower cap.

This includes a $3 million cap hit for Spikes in 2003

Bills can still release LB Eddie Robinson and CB Chris Watson and save $1.4 million (top 51 rule).

That tells me we can add Adams and a WR, our draft choices and still one more.

What's the deal with this debit thing... why do we have an approx. 1 Mill debit on this year's cap?

So what you're saying is that we have NLTBE money tied up in contracts this year so we'll have more money next year?

It all depends on how those players, who have incentives, perform.

                      You're not kidding, eh!!

If feels GREAT! Especially since we have a great roster right now.

Sign some OL depth, a DT, WR, and a S if we can find one. This is nice b/c we're already good which allows us to be able to wait for the June 1st cuts w/o thinking we may suck if exactly the right things don't happen at the 6/1 cuts.

                      WOOHOO!!!
Replace Donahoe with Modrak and fire the entire coaching staff!

                      Then let's go to Disneyworld!

                      GO BILLS!!!

CP, can you break down the Mike Williams contract for me??

Also cutting Robinson and Watson only saves $950,000.
