All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

"The screen is put in, and one of the two 500-plus foot Mitsubishi Diamond Vision LED video display ribbon boards that will line the upper deck has been installed."
I was at the Bills/Fins game last year in Miami, and their ribbon board was awesome. I'm assuming the Bills are getting the same thing. You Buffalonians will love it.
NEW SCOREBOARD IS IN: The Bills new Diamond Vision HD scoreboard is fully assembled in Ralph Wilson Stadium. They just put the last module in today. We'll have a full report on the developments and progress with that and the ribbon boards in Bills Focus in the multimedia section tomorrow morning. The new board is twice as wide as the old one and just as tall.
In addition, the Bills are installing over 1,000 feet of Mitsubishi Diamond Vision LED Ribbon Boards on the facade of the upper deck. The traditional scoring system will be encompassed within this state-of–the-art display along with dynamic sponsor ads, player/team statistics and fan prompts. The display product is identical to the Tokyo Race Course, which holds the Guinness Book of Records for the world’s largest display.
Basically the length of the two ribbon boards is about as wide as Niagara Falls. One is already up and assembled and the second one is coming in within the week. Cool stuff.
Now that we finally have a potential multimedia experience at The Ralph, hopefully they hire someone like JJamezz or BAM to fully utilize it. If we have to watch those freakin buses in HD, I'm going to throw up!
Time to take a page from the Raven's multimedia department and get creative!

I hope to see the kind of fan prompts that they use in Baltimore. That will definitely help pump us up.
The Buffalo Bills are half-way through their scoreboard project, which includes a new high definition scoreboard and ribbon board around the stadium.
The last of the modules was put in place Thursday, paving the way for work to begin on the wiring and ribbon board around Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Measuring 33 feet tall and 82 feet wide, the new high definition scoreboard will be just as tall and twice as wide as the Jumbotron, which lasted 13 years.
Mitsubishi project manager Brad Wade says it's only the second high-definition scoreboard in the NFL (the other is Miami). He says it should last about twenty years and weather the Buffalo elements just fine. "We run these screens all over. We have them in Times Square. They run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week." "It's going to look a lot clearer and you're going to be able to do a lot more with that screen," he added.

Excuse my ignorance, but what's with the buses? And, what do the Ravens do?
