my point exactly- Miyagi wanted to know why all my hypotheticals were negative. Well, here's what happens with hypothetical positives. Stupidity. There's nothing to discuss.

Not if JP is scheduled to be a free agent and demands a two hundred million dollar ten year contract with a hundred million dollar signing bonus.

Say the same thing I said in the other Losman thread you started..

"Barring injury..

Losman is the starter for 2007 and 2008.

Whether he regresses or becomes a Pro Bowler, the REAL question at the end next season becomes "Will Wilson pay to keep Losman." By the end of next year, it will cost in the ballpark of the 6-year/60 million deal Drew Brees got with the Saints last year.

If he plays bad for whatever reason this season, then expect Edwards to have a legit shot next year. But this is Losman's team"

Trade him, in this case to the highest bidder, because the pressure of him having to play in L.A. will prove too much for the guy! There, I CAN be negative too!!

Obviously if the Bills were to win the Super Bowl the defense had to have stepped up and Lynch ran for 2000 yards.

So my answer is no. Sign Lee long term and let Edwards throw him the ball.

Up next, "IF Jason Peters fails , should we move on?".

Might as well start hypotheticals for every player.

right because every position on the field is as important to the team's success as QB and is as difficult to replace as QB.

But that's ok- it goes with your MO of not being able to differentiate.

"iF Crowell fails What's next?"

Cmon OP , you're slowing down.

Cmon OP , you're slowing down.

If you seriously think replacing the QB is the same as replacing Crowell, you obviously haven't been paying attention to what's happened to this team since Kelly retired.

If we win the Super Bowl we should immediately trade JP to the Eagles for Takeo Spikes because he could be that missing link...err never mind....

who's talking about importance of a qb to any other position but you? I'm talking about hypothetical doom and gloom here.

What if Marv is abducted by aliens?

See, you just proved my point.

Your hypotheticals are far less likely and/or far less consequential than mine.

thank you for once again proving my point to Miyagi.

Positive hypotheticals aren't worth discussing.

What if Losman gets benched for Edwards and he wins you guys the Super Bowl. Who's the QB now?

Now you're just digging too hard Op.

Of course we'd keep JP - because we'd get there because of him - not in spite of him like the Bears with Rex Grossman.
