the DVD when Golly took over the team (Building a winner is the title of it), thought it'd be interesting to post the statement that came with it.
Dear Sabres Fan,
Welcome to a new era of Buffalo Sabres hockey!
As the new owner of the buffalo Sabres, I pledge to you that we will improve our team's performance, make your hockey experience more affordable and overall, make a visit to HSBC arena more enjoyable and entertaining in every way. After I took over the team, the first thing I did was announce we were rolling back ticket prices to the level of the 2001-2 season. Additionally, we unveiled new ticket packages and introduced two new price levels in the arena to make attending a hockey game more affordable for families.
Enclosed is a commemorative DVD copy of the much talked about Jumbotron video shown prior to our final home game when we surprised everyone and wore the old blue and gold colors of the Sabres. Also, on the DVD, there is information about season ticket pricing and ticket packages for next season, highlights from the press conference when I assumed ownership of the team, and three videos highlighting the rich history of the Buffalo Sabres.
Now, more than ever, we need your help. You have been a loyal Sabres supporter in the past, and now, we need you to continue your support through the purchase of season tickets or other ticket packages.
Together, we can return the Buffalo Sabres to the winning tradition of the past and make it an organization we can all be proud of again.
