San Diego Chargers general manager John Butler has been hospitalized since Thursday because of internal inflammation and dehydration.
Butler's condition is not related to his lung cancer, team spokesman Bill Johnston said Saturday. Butler is recovering and getting stronger, Johnston said, but the team doesn't know when he will be discharged.
Butler was diagnosed with cancer in July and has undergone chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
