    Jon Kitna predicted at least a 10-win season for the Lions in 2007. That would be a tall task, according to recent NFL history. Only the Cardinals have waited longer than the Lions for a 10-win season.

    Appearing on WDFN-AM in Detroit on Thursday, Kitna predicted that the Lions will win more than 10 games this season. The Lions were 3-13 in 2006.
    In March, Kitna said the Lions would win 10 games in 2007, but after seeing the team's schedule he adjusted his prediction -- higher...................................

        Yeah but the NFC was Dominant in the late 80s and 90s. Keep in mind it is 29 years.

          and at that point they were transitioning from the st louis cardinals into phoenix, into present day arizona....... i think arizona this year has a chance, to make a splash especially in the very weak nfc west..... which i think sf and zona can make some moves


          but im just saying for the cardinals to make the playoffs 2 or 3 times in that span, and not have a 10 win season is just........laughable...... i mean hell, in the afc, 10 wins doesnt even mean playoffs much less be a possible top seed.

            We SHOULD have beat the crap out of them last year... 7-9 or 8-8 by beating the LIONS...3-13

            Maybe Kitna should be drug tested...or he should share is stash

              I see the Bills getting 10 wins before Detroit does, despite the Bills being in a tougher conference.

                  29 years? wow that is pathetic.

                  i think the Lions are gonna be sick if not this year, the next year. kitna to johnson will be unreal. the guy simply does not drop passes.

                  (7 years isn't so great either)

                    Reminds me of the quote Roy Williams (or one of the other lions receivers) made last year saying it was "ridiculous how close we were to scoring 40 points".... After they lost a game by a huge margin and scored less then 20 points. In fact I don't even think they scored 10 points in that game.

                      no 'fans of teams' can complain about losing seasons compared to the Cardinals and Detroit. Because of their past osing seasons, like the Bengals, it'd be nice to see the underdogs have a successful season IMO

                          Ya, I always pulled for Cincy back in the day, except if they played the Bills of course, and I actually loved Takeo and !!Corey Dillon, who i might hate more than anyone other than Tom Brady and Tedy Bruschi in the entire NFL. Now, Chad Johnson is my favorite non-Bill player. You're right, it is nice to see some new teams winning, hopefully it will be the Bills this year!

                              Detroit is for real - great offense, and the defense is coming around as well. The Answer has always liked John Kitna as well and Cincy made a mistake letting him go. Palmer puts up numbers but isn't a winner.

                              They are going to win the division and make it to the NFC championship - BOOK IT!
